The Coastal Alliance appeals the Saugatuck Township Planning Commission preliminary approval of the Singapore Dunes development

Today the Coastal Alliance filed an appeal with the Saugatuck Township Zoning Board of Appeals asking that they review the approved preliminary plan for Aubrey McClendon's development. We specifically want them to review the ordinance requiring 35% open space in the R3B district, as well as the standards that require a development to minimize the impacts on natural resources -- the Planning Commission ignored both.
